By registering for an account, downloading our application, or otherwise using our services, you and your family enter into a binding agreement to uphold these Terms & Conditions. ShubhMilaap is a sanctuary for dignified, dowry-free alliances — your continued use signifies your wholehearted acceptance of the covenant set out below.
Eligibility & Registration
LEGAL AGE
You must be of legal marriageable age under Indian law — 21 years for men and 18 years for women — and legally free to marry.
TRUTHFUL BIODATA
All profile information, family details, and documents you submit must be accurate, current, and genuinely your own.
MANDATORY KYC
Registration is completed only after successful Government ID verification to keep every profile authentic and accountable.
SINGLE ACCOUNT
Each individual may maintain one account. Duplicate or impersonating profiles will be removed without notice.
The Anti-Dowry Undertaking
Our community is founded on a zero-tolerance stance toward dowry. By accepting these Terms, every member makes a binding pledge in line with the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
block NO DEMANDS
You shall neither demand, offer, nor accept dowry in any form — cash, gifts, property, or services — as a condition of any alliance.
report DUTY TO REPORT
Any dowry demand encountered on the platform must be reported to our Grievance Officer. Violations result in immediate, permanent termination.
Member Code of Conduct
To preserve a respectful environment for all families, members agree to refrain from the following:
- Harassment, abusive language, or any disrespectful conduct toward other members or their families.
- Sharing false, misleading, or another person's information or photographs.
- Soliciting money, business, or using the platform for any non-matrimonial purpose.
- Attempting to bypass the Two-Tier consent system to access protected details.
Privacy & Consent
Your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Sensitive details remain protected behind the Family Consent Lock and are revealed only upon mutual approval.

- verified_user Consent may be withdrawn at any time from within the app.
- verified_user Your data is never sold or shared with advertisers.
Subscriptions, Termination & Liability
Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed as disclosed at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, especially the Anti-Dowry Undertaking.
Liability
ShubhMilaap facilitates introductions but is not liable for the conduct of members or the outcome of any alliance.
Note: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi. We may update these Terms periodically; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
